I’m Fabián — a creator, consultant, and serial project-starter based in Bern, Switzerland.

I didn’t follow a traditional path. I studied psychology for a year, realized lecture halls weren’t for me, and spent the next decade learning by doing. I’ve worked in tech startups, built marketing strategies for companies across Europe, designed websites for businesses that needed more than a template, and started more side projects than I can count.

Recently, I went back to school. I’m now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, focusing on sociology and political science. After years of exploring these topics autodidactically through my work and content, I wanted the formal framework to deepen my understanding — and honestly, I’m enjoying it more this time around.

These days, I’m focused on three things:

Making videos that explore philosophy, culture, politics, and the ideas that keep me up at night. My YouTube channel (Fabian DGC) is where I break down complex topics, react to cultural moments, and occasionally go deep on obscure historical figures or linguistic quirks.

Building The Underreported — a news and media project launching in 2026 that challenges how we consume information. The goal: cover the stories that matter but don’t trend, with context that actually helps you understand the world.

Shaping digital policy through the Institute for Digital Policy & Innovation (IDPI), a Swiss think tank I’m developing to help Europe navigate the intersection of technology, governance, and society.

I also do freelance marketing consulting and web design when the right projects come along.

Languages

I speak 8 languages fluently: Swiss German, German, English, Spanish, Galician, French, Italian and Portuguese.

Language isn’t just a skill for me — it’s a lens. It shapes how I think about culture, communication, and the weird ways humans organize meaning.

On YouTube, I’ll be creating content in English, German, and Spanish, depending on what the topic demands.
